From a very young age I knew in my heart and soul that art would be a very big part of my life. As a known introvert, I am prone to get lost in my imagination. At the age of 15 I was gifted a Yashica 35mm film camera that came with me on all my teenage travels. I enjoyed capturing friends, family, and bands in most every western Massachusetts venue. From ska shows to metal shows, I was determined to capture the energy that was felt in the late 90’s. As time passed my love for photography as an art form turned into sketches that I prepared with diagrams for lighting. I couldn’t get enough of manipulating light, and stage setting. It empowered me to take my photography to another level.

Today, I use these skills along with countless educational classes to power Roxanne Elizabeth Photography.
